All you need to know about getting married at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas - with thanks to Carrie Giverson for all her help.
Q) Thanks for talking to us today Rebecca. Can you let us know when the Venetian Hotel Wedding Chapel was established?
A) June 2003
Q) Why is your wedding chapel different? - why should brides-to-be choose you?
A) The unique decor, architectural designs and the exclusive wedding locations that are only at The Venetian and The Palazzo create a romantic setting and storybook charm of old world Italy.
Brides should choose us because we offer that one-stop shop approach where we will handle everything from the floral for their bridal bouquet to their menu selections for their reception. We create the most beautiful experience for their most special day!
Q) As a Bride at the Venetian Wedding Chapel, what can I expect in terms of wedding planning and my wedding day?
A) Since we are a one-stop shop, we will guide you through the entire process as far as floral, pictures, ministers, hotel stay, restaurant recommendations and places to visit. Our planners are here for any questions you may have related to the wedding and visiting Las Vegas. You can relax and enjoy your wedding experience knowing that all of your wedding planning details will be taken care of by our department as we create a memorable wedding day. As Wedding Planners, we want to exceed the guests' expectations to make them happier than they could have imagined.
Q) What does The Venetian Wedding Chapel do best?
A) We provide unmatched guest service to our couples to ensure the experience they receive is truly exceptional and everything they have ever dreamed of and more. We also capture the most unbelievable photos, making our couples look even more stunning than imagined!
Q) What are the most popular weddings at the chapel?
A) The most popular wedding ceremony is our Gondola Ceremony where our couples feel as if they are in Venice, Italy, saying their "I Do's" on the water as they get serenaded by a Gondolier. This package is what makes us famous as you are unable to find this anywhere in Las Vegas.
Q) What are the oddest/funniest requests you've ever had?
A) Many! We have received a request to have tattooed rings on the couple's fingers during a Halloween Ceremony.
Q) How did you get into the weddings business?
A) We have planners that attended UNLV for Meetings and Event Management and have worked with a few event companies around Las Vegas. They have also interned for local independent wedding planners where they are exposed to the industry. Some knew instantly this was their niche. It's the hands on experience of working with couples, experiencing their emotions and being a part of their special day.
Q) As a Las Vegas insider, what are your top tips for visitors?
A) There are a variety of great attractions in Las Vegas, especially onsite at The Venetian and The Palazzo. Taken a vote from all of the planners in the wedding department, their favorite restaurants are Dos Caminos, Pinot Brassiere, Canaletto and Bouchon. I highly recommend seeing The Phantom of the Opera as it is a remarkable show. The Grand Canal Shops offer a variety of selections for any budget and again, gives you the feeling like you are actually shopping in Italy with the performances and the gondolas strolling down the canal.
