Quirky Restaurants in Las Vegas
We've found some of the more unexpected, kitsch and fun places to eat in Las Vegas. We hope you enjoy them:
- Quarks Bar and Restaurant at the Las Vegas Hilton - Star Trek themed bar with wandering aliens (Ferengi, Klingon and Borg) and terrible Trek puns to describe their food (Wrap of Khan or Hamborgers, anyone?!)
- Excalibur's 'Tournament of Kings' jousting and dinner show. Eat your fill of meat while grown men hurtle at each other on horseback armed with long spiked poles. There's also medieval dancing maidens and fireworks.
- Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas. German kitsch, with steins of beer, Wiener schnitzel and oompah bands a-plenty.
- Imperial Hawaiian Luau at the Imperial Palace. Poolside buffet with Polynesian Dancers. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
- Kahunaville at Treasure Island has a tropical island theme and tiki decor. The staff sing and dance while you eat or drink here.
- Roxy's Diner at the Stratosphere Hotel. 1950s style diner with singing and dancing waiters and waitresses to take you back to the rock 'n' roll era. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- House of Blues gospel brunch. All you can eat buffet to the tuneful backing of a gospel choir. Advance bookings advised.
- Harley Davidson Café - surrounded by Harley memorabilia and bikes, you'll be in Hog heaven.
- Le Provencal, Paris - where sophisticated food is complimented by singing waiters.
- Marrakech - a Moroccan restaurant. Sit on cushions in the tent-like room and enjoy the traditional food while belly dancers dance for you - you can even join them if you like. Find them at 3900 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, telephone 001 (702) 737-5611
