Not everyone wants Elvis to perform their wedding ceremony, and it can come as a pleasant surprise to find that Las Vegas can provide a wide range of simple, beautiful and romantic ceremonies as well as the glitzier offerings that often capture the headlines. From plain to pretty, through to glamour and sophistication, the wedding chapels cover the whole spectrum.
If it's just the two of you, you may find that a gazebo wedding will suit the bill. Equally, Vegas is used to catering for weddings with hundreds of guests - just use our browse facility to find the place that's right for you. There are also various outdoor options if you prefer that to an indoor setting. Outdoor setting may also be important when thinking about places for your wedding photographs.
You will find that the majority of venues will provide a bridal bouquet, music and photography as part of the package. Upgrades are usually available so you should be able to find exactly what you are looking for. Flowers for the bridal party - buttonholes and corsages - can also be ordered from most of the chapels. Just remember to check if the ministers fee and limo drivers gratuity are included in the price of your wedding, or if they are 'extras'.
Whether you want a religious or non-religious service, most of the chapels will be able to cater for you - just ask the question. Equally, if you would like the ceremony performed in a language that isn't English - this is an international hub and most languages can be accommodated.
As you are likely to be making a lot of choices remotely (rather than being able to visit each in person), we would suggest that you use our browse facility, then take some time to look at the chapel websites themselves. We would also recommend the book Neon Nuptials which gives ratings to all of the chapels based on their romance factor, their friendliness and cleanliness - we found it invaluable when planning our own wedding.
We have put together a list of traditional Las Vegas weddings.
